Transformative Ritual

I have a background in both Cultural Anthropology and Comparative Religion. My observation is that our current society has put aside many of its traditional rituals for transformation, and as a result, big life changes can sometimes feel either incomplete or attenuated.

There seems to be a universal, psychospiritual need to mark important experiences with an outward event:  this signals both the individual and the community that a change has occurred, relationships have changed, situations have shifted.  Rituals both validate the internal experience and assert a new boundary with people and places around us.

An ordained non-denominational minister and a scholar of world faiths, I bring the power of archetype and pageantry to your life event, imprinting its meaning and your transformation in a sacred space.

Consider transformative ritual for traditional events, such as marriage, a new birth, coming of age, graduation and funerals, and also for divorce/break-up, job loss, moving to a new place, menopause and other important transitions.
