What should you expect?

What is intuitive counseling?  Sometimes called an intuitive or psychic reading, intuitive counseling aims to reconnect you with your inner wisdom and intuition.  My understanding is that everyone already knows everything, but access to this information can sometimes become cloudy or otherwise obstructed:  it is then that a person can benefit from a reading.  An excellent reading should always feel like you’ve been told something which now feels obvious and “of course”, even though you didn’t see it before.

I will do long-distance readings by phone or Skype, but I prefer local counseling in your space.  A typical session takes however long it takes, but a cycle tends to run 60-90 minutes, depending how much quality stuff I’m seeing… there comes a point when I’m not getting much which seems useful, or when there just seems to be a natural pause, and I conclude the session.  Sometimes if it’s appropriate and desired, I will do a little energy work in the session.

The format is based on a portion of the format I learned while training at the Berkeley Psychic Institute.  I first go through the layers of your “aura” and discuss the issues which emerge as I scan them.  At the end, you are welcome to ask questions.  Often, people come with questions which they then find they are surprisingly disinterested in asking at the end, or the person wants to ask follow-up questions about what came up within the reading.  However it unfolds is up to the client.  Much of the reading is happening at a non-verbal level, and so many times a person feels calm and a little sleepy at the end as their unconscious mind processes the information.

The end always includes my recommendations for “next steps”, which may entail nutrition, bodywork, therapy, fun, or anything else which would be specifically beneficial for you to undertake for integration – some of that I can support with other services, some of it I don’t, and none of it requires my involvement to make happen.

Caveats and Costs

I limit readings for clients to a maximum of 1 per quarter, because the point is to clear the connection with your own internal guidance.  Sometimes, people can get addicted to the process and/or validation, which is not a healthy place to engage.

The cost is $60 by the hour, so a reading which goes 90 minutes will be $90.  The first hour needs to be paid at the beginning, because the money part is typically awkward and it’s better if it’s dispatched right away.  I accept checks on a discerning basis, and I can also take credit cards through PayPal, especially for distance clients.
